Thomas wants to stay with Bobcats
Charlotte Bobcats free agent forward Tyrus Thomas hopes he returns to the team next season.
Thomas was acquired by the Bobcats before the NBA trade deadline this season from the Chicago Bulls.
He said his goal is to earn a long-term deal from the Bobcats and make Charlotte his permanent home.
General manager Rod Higgins seems to be on the same page, saying they thought long-term when they made the trade.
Thomas averaged 10.1 points and 6.1 rebounds per game in 25 regular season contests with the Bobcats.
